These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of StriveBit ERP — our website, web application and mobile applications (together, the Service”). Please read them carefully. By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by StriveBit Technologies Private Limited (CIN: U72900UP2021PTC142374), a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 1059, Neemapatti, Saidupur, District Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, 203411, India (“StriveBit”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Refunds & Cancellations Policy, both of which form part of this agreement.

01Who we are

StriveBit ERP is a multi-tenant school management platform. Schools and colleges use it to manage admissions, student records, attendance, timetables, examinations, results, fee accounting, payroll, library, transport, hostel and inventory, and to communicate with parents and staff through a web portal and branded mobile applications.

02Definitions

  • “School” means the educational institution that subscribes to the Service and operates an account (a “tenant”) on it.
  • “Authorised User” means any person the School permits to sign in — administrators, teachers, accountants, office staff, parents and guardians.
  • “School Data” means all data a School or its Authorised Users enter into or generate through the Service, including student records, marks, attendance, fee ledgers and communications.
  • “Subscription Fees” means the amounts a School pays StriveBit for use of the Service.
  • “School Fees” means tuition and other charges a School collects from parents, which may be paid through the Service.

03Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account. Students under 18 do not hold their own accounts; a parent or guardian account is used instead.
  • The person accepting these Terms on behalf of a School confirms they are authorised to bind that School.
  • You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering, and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at erp@strivebit.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • A School is responsible for the acts and omissions of its Authorised Users, and for promptly deactivating accounts of people who leave.

04Schools, staff and parents

Each School operates independently on its own tenant. A School decides which staff have which permissions, what data is recorded, and what is published to parents. StriveBit provides the platform; it does not run the School.

  • Parents and guardians receive access from their School, and can see only records relating to the children linked to their account.
  • Any dispute about the accuracy of a student record, a mark, an attendance entry or a fee amount must be raised with the School, which controls that data. We cannot alter a School's records on a parent's request.
  • A School is responsible for obtaining any consent its own laws require before entering personal data about students, parents or staff into the Service.

05Your right to use the service

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable Subscription Fees, we grant the School a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and use the Service during the subscription term, for its own internal educational and administrative purposes.

This right ends when the subscription ends. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.

06Free trial

We offer a 14-day free trial with access to the Service's features, without requiring a payment card. The trial is intended for evaluation. We may modify or withdraw trial availability at any time.

At the end of the trial, if you have not subscribed, your account moves to a read-only state. Your data is retained for the period described in our Privacy Policy so you can subscribe later without re-entering it, or export it.

07Subscription fees and billing

  • Subscription Fees are quoted per School based on student strength and support level, as published on our pricing page, and are payable annually in advance.
  • All prices are exclusive of taxes. Goods and Services Tax (currently 18%) and any other applicable statutory levies are charged in addition and shown separately on the invoice.
  • Subscription terms are aligned to the April–March academic year. A subscription starting mid-year is invoiced pro-rata to the following 31 March.
  • Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We may suspend access to the Service where an invoice remains unpaid after written reminders.
  • An increase in student strength does not change the fee mid-term; a revised rate applies from the next renewal.
  • We may revise Subscription Fees on renewal, with advance written notice as stated in our published pricing terms.

08Fee collection from parents

The Service allows a School to collect School Fees from parents online. This is important to understand clearly:

  • A School connects its own merchant account with a payment aggregator (Cashfree Payments, Razorpay, PhonePe, Paytm). Payments made by parents settle directly into the School's bank account on that aggregator's normal settlement cycle.
  • StriveBit does not receive, hold, or take any commission from School Fees. We are not a payment aggregator, a payment gateway or an escrow agent, and we do not act as an agent of the School for collecting money.
  • Card, bank and UPI credentials are captured and processed by the payment aggregator on its own systems. StriveBit never receives or stores them.
  • Each payment is also governed by the terms and policies of the aggregator the School has configured.
  • The amount payable, any late fee, any concession, and any refund of School Fees are determined solely by the School. See our Refunds & Cancellations Policy.

09Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit any Authorised User to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law including Indian data protection, education and taxation law;
  • upload or transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, infringing, or harmful to a child;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, another School's tenant, or any account that is not yours;
  • probe, scan, penetration-test or otherwise test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written consent;
  • copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or create derivative works from the Service, except to the extent Indian law expressly permits;
  • resell, sublicense, rent or otherwise make the Service available to any third party that is not an Authorised User;
  • use automated means to extract data from the Service at a scale that impairs it for others, or introduce any virus or malicious code.

10Your data and content

  • School Data belongs to the School. We claim no ownership over it.
  • The School grants us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display School Data solely to provide, secure and support the Service.
  • We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which sets out our roles under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  • A School may export its data at any time during the subscription term. On termination, export is available for the window described in the Refunds & Cancellations Policy.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you enter. We do not verify the correctness of marks, attendance, fee amounts or student records.

11Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and the StriveBit ERP and StriveBit names and logos, is owned by StriveBit Technologies Private Limited or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property law. Where the Service displays a School's own name, logo and colours, that branding remains the School's property and is used only to operate the Service for that School.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use them to improve the Service, without obligation to you.

12Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party providers, including payment aggregators, SMS and messaging providers, cloud hosting and email delivery. Where a School connects its own account with such a provider (for example, a payment aggregator or an SMS gateway), that relationship is between the School and the provider, and that provider's terms and charges apply directly to the School. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions or availability of third-party providers.

13Availability and support

  • We aim to keep the Service available continuously, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may be interrupted by planned maintenance, which we schedule outside peak school hours where practical, or by events outside our control.
  • Support is available by email at erp@strivebit.io and by phone at +91 78228 46771 during Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST. Response times depend on the plan the School subscribes to, as published on our pricing page.
  • Support covers use of the Service. It does not extend to a School's own hardware, internet connectivity, or third-party accounts.

14Suspension and termination

  • A School may choose not to renew at the end of its subscription term. Cancellation and its consequences are set out in the Refunds & Cancellations Policy.
  • We may suspend access immediately where we reasonably believe there is a security risk, unlawful use, or a breach of the acceptable-use section, and will tell the School why.
  • We may suspend access for non-payment after written reminders.
  • Either party may terminate for material breach that is not cured within 30 days of written notice.
  • On termination, the right to use the Service ends. Data export and deletion follow the timelines in the Refunds & Cancellations Policy and the Privacy Policy.

15Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refunds & Cancellations Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: the 14-day free trial is the evaluation period, and Subscription Fees are non-refundable once paid, except where required by law or where we fail to provide the Service. Refunds of School Fees paid by parents are decided and issued by the School, not by StriveBit.

16Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet every requirement of a particular School, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reports it generates satisfy any specific regulatory or board requirement. A School remains responsible for its own statutory and board compliance.

17Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings, however arising.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the Subscription Fees actually paid by the School to StriveBit in that period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

18Indemnity

The School agrees to indemnify and hold StriveBit harmless against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from the School's breach of these Terms, its unlawful use of the Service, its failure to obtain any consent required for personal data it enters, or a dispute between the School and its parents, students or staff about School Data or School Fees.

19Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it, complaints relating to the Service or these Terms may be addressed to:

Abhishek Sirohi, Director

StriveBit Technologies Private Limited

1059, Neemapatti, Saidupur, District Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, 203411, India

Email: erp@strivebit.io

Phone: +91 78228 46771

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days, consistent with the timelines Indian IT Rules expect.

20Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith. Any dispute that cannot be resolved is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.

21Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service, our practices or applicable law change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Where a change materially reduces your rights, we will give notice through the Service or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

22Contact us

Questions about these Terms can be sent to erp@strivebit.io or raised through our Contact page. Please include your school name and the email address on your account. Never send passwords or payment credentials by email.
